ClearGage is a healthcare financing and loan estimation company based out of Tampa, Florida. It specializes in helping people with low credit scores obtain financing for their healthcare needs. It also provides healthcare merchants with tools to help them run their practices more effectively and efficiently.
I was hired on at ClearGage as the first and only UX designer the company had since its founding about 10 years ago. I took on the enormous adventure of doing a full company rebrand, portal redesign, and loan application redesign. You can view these projects below.

ClearGage rebrand
I was hired on at ClearGage as the first designer they had ever had! This meant that I was working with a 10 year old design system (if you could call it that!) and very little understanding for what my role would actually be. It became clear that a fresh skin and updated website would be a good place to start. This was a rather quick project as the compnay did not want to spend very much time on this much needed face lift.
Loan application design
The main goal of this project was to create a seamless and transparent user flow that clearly showed the applicant the loan they were applying for, their APR, the total cost at the end and a clear way to compare different rates. The main user problem that the existing application had was the confusion with ClearGage’s promotional offer.
